On October 4th, Maharajas’ Express made the first trip of the year 2015-2016. In one of its pan-Indian itinerary, Treasures of India, the opulent train began the journey with a royal welcome that was completed with a band performance, festive decoration and the traditional welcome ceremony. The guests firstly travelled to the alluring city of Agra followed by an enthralling safari and tiger-spotting at Ranthambore and finally to the Pink City, Jaipur, where they witnessed the graceful performance of Rajasthani folk dance, Kalbeliya. The guests also indulged with the majestic Indian elephants at an exclusive venue in Jaipur; the guests rejoiced painting and feeding the elephants. The group experienced the iridescence of Rajasthan and its monumental forts at Udaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner and Jodhpur. The sprawling jungles of Ranthambore left them mesmerized while the trip to Taj Mahal in Agra gave the journey a perfect ending.
